THE SEASON OF ADVENT

Advent, which means "coming", is the 4-week period of time prior to Christmas when we prepare for the coming of Christ. Each week we light a candle on our Advent wreath symbolizing the presence of Christ, the "Light of the World" breaking into the darkness of the world.
